Do I need to contact 811 if I use your services?

Yes, the public utilities generally locate their facilities form the main line to the meter or interface point at your home or business. They have access to the individual utilities records and are responsible for their timely location.

Can plastic or other non-metallic lines be located?

Yes, through the use of ground penetrating radar (GPR) and locatable rodders. Ground penetrating radar can be highly effective in locating septic tanks and systems, as well as plastic water lines.

Is there an additional charge for the use of GPR?

No, all of our locators are equipped with GPR systems. GPR is just another tool that we use daily to locate specific utilities or scan for the presence of unknown utility conflicts.

Is it possible to receive a record of utilities located?

Yes, we are able to provide mapping of utilities located via a GPS mapping system. This is not a survey grade product and is not intended to be used as a replacement for a professional grade survey. Our mapping is intended for a general reference for utility location and may not be possible due to satellite obstruction caused by tree canopy or urban buildings.
